Carter's Twisted Interpretation of History

The founder of the Middle East program at Jimmy Carter’s Carter Center has resigned in disgust at the former president’s anti-Israel, pro-Hamas book. -lgf

Stein resigned Tuesday as Middle East Fellow of the Carter Center of Emory University, stating in his resignation letter that "President Carter's book on the Middle East, a title too inflammatory to even print, is not based on unvarnished analyses; it is replete with factual errors, copied materials not cited, superficialities, glaring omissions, and simply invented segments." -FoxNews

Alan Dershowitz, the dude who wrote "The Case for Israel", refutes many of the historical inaccuracies presented in President Carter's book.

Also, one should note that signing online petitions is good for the soul, so feel free to sign one aimed against Carter's book. Check Simon Wiesenthal Center. While you're at it, check also who Simon Wiesenthal was. The man's story is simply astounding.

-Israel's "occupation and colonialization" of the West Bank and Gaza is the reason there is no peace.

FACT: President Carter deliberately overlooks that in 2000, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak went to Camp David and offered Yasser Arafat 95% of the West Bank, 100% of Gaza and part of the Old City of Jerusalem for a Palestinian State, along with $30 billion in compensation for Palestinian refugees. Arafat’s response: launching the bloody Intifada which targeted innocent civilians in restaurants, malls, schools, and religious services with suicide terror attacks. Had Arafat accepted Israel’s offer at Camp David there would have long been a Palestinian State alongside Israel.
