People are not equal

While we all live and should continue to live under the same rules and liberties, that's as far as equality should go. The truth is that the lives of some people have no value whatsover. A good example of this is Cho Seung-Hui, the heinous degenerate that massacred 32 people.

Blaming guns, the Republicans, "liberal" (in the American sense of the word) secularists, games and tv violence undermines the real (and persistent) problem; that some people are born as defects, capable of inflicting mindless violence on other human beings.

While libertarians and conservatives have a strong sense of self-responsibiliy, degenerates are not bound by such a practice. When facing difficulties degenerates blame others and this is used as an excuse for personal failures. If you have read any of Cho's statements, Cho was convinced that he was the victim and that it's not him who should be held responsible for the massacre.

"There are some people who blame all their failures on those who failed them. Use their youthful traumas as excuses for being less than they could have been.
And there are others... Who use those traumas to propel them to greatness." (Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #5)

And then there are extraordinary individuals, who are ready to sacrifice their own lives to save others:

Liviu Librescu survived the Nazi Holocaust. He died trying to keep a gunman from shooting his students in a killing spree at Virginia Tech — a heroic feat later recounted in e-mails from students to his wife.

Librescu, an aeronautics engineer and teacher at the school for 20 years, saved the lives of several students by using his body to barricade a classroom door before he was gunned down in Monday's massacre, which coincided with Holocaust Remembrance Day.

His son, Joe Librescu, told The Associated Press on Tuesday that his mother received e-mails from students shortly after learning of her husband's death.

"My father blocked the doorway with his body and asked the students to flee," Joe Librescu said in a telephone interview from his home outside of Tel Aviv. "Students started opening windows and jumping out."

Joe Librescu told CNN that one of the e-mails was from the last student left in the room. The student said he looked back and saw his teacher struggling to hold the door, and "he was torn between jumping out the window and coming and helping my dad."

You're wrong. We all should NOT live under the same liberties precisely because some people are born as defects.
It doesn't matter what we say or who we blame AFTER these kinds of things have happened. What matters is what we do BEFORE they happen.
How do we know who is a soon-to-be school shooter? How do we know whose liberties to remove? How did the witch-hunters know who was a witch? Simple: SUSPICION.
