Muslim immigration leads to White flight

According to this news piece, native Finns are taking their children out of schools with significant immigrant populations (mainly Muslims, of course). Not just that, but they're also willing to move to have their children put in another school. This will further erode the areas with significant immigrant populations as the population actually capable of paying taxes moves out, leaving behind only those consuming welfare services. And not just that, but the demand for these welfare services increases as the amount of immigrants does. This is what happened in the United States as a result of desegregation. White Americans responded by moving elsewhere, leaving cities like Detroit to rot. Add rent controls to the mix and you'll end up with ghettos. This flight is taking place in cities across Europe and it has, in just a few years, landed in Finland and is now destroying the ridiculously naive "people's home" state, first conceived in Sweden.

This will also reflect on educational attainments. Immigrants tend to have much lower test scores than natives. Also, the natives will suffer if teachers are forced to devote more and more time on immigrant pupils. As I have argued before, one reason why Finland does well in international comparisons (the so-called "PISA" test) is because of our homogeneous population. This also means that our education system cannot be "copied", i.e., no lessons can be drawn from our system unless our demographic structure is copied too.

So, what is happening is that westerners are moving elsewhere as their neighborhoods are being invaded by alien, collectivist cultures where ethnic and religious indentities matter more than the individual. People do care about what is happening but few dare to speak out because of the intellectual climate where those criticizing immigration policies are quickly labeled as racists. So, don't expect anyone to do anything. The trend will continue until we're on the verge of a collapse.

I'm a white South African and I have to leave my country of birth because I'm not happy with the levels of corruption, cronyism and racism that have taken root in our government, which was democratically elected by the majority black race. The brain washing about the issue of racism has become a fine art form amongst the academics and main stream media. I, for one, will never eat up that bull shit again. I was willing to swallow the whole 'Rainbow Nation' dream hook, line and sinker. 15 years later I've never been more disillusioned in my life. Worst case scenario, we turn into another Zimbabwe. The politicians, academics and main stream media just turned a blind eye to the real issues of racism and the impact on the economy of Zimbabwe.

SA is an interesting case because its economy and governmental institutions were left in a relatively good condition by the Apartheid. The country, now in the hands of mostly black Africans, has has been hailed as a model for the rest of Africa. If SA fails, the blacks shouldn't be able to use the race card to put the blame on whites.

SA has many problems but atleast economy wise it is doing pretty well with 5% gdp growth during past few years. It is interesting to see how it will develop in the future.

There has always been a struggle for the power over the development of the South African macro-economic policy between factions since Apartheid ended and it seems that the left is winning the battle. (http://iluvsa.blogspot.com/2009/10/left-in-south-africa-move-in-for-kill.html) There has been recent talk of the nationalization of the mines.

Over 1 million of the best qualified whites have left SA since apartheid ended due to sky high crime levels (50 murders A DAY = approximately 20,000 a year; 1 in 4 men have ADMITTED to committing rape in recent survey) and economic policies, which have discriminated against whites (Black Economic Empowerment and Affirmative Action). The skills pool vanished before any of it could be transferred. SA is left with a serious capacity problem.

I'm not too optimistic about SA's economic prospects. After the fall of Apartheid, the left vowed to leave the prevailing economic system alone, but as far as I know, there's hardly anyone to challenge ANC's rule and I believe there's a tendency to gradually socialize the economy which would slowly deteriorate the entire country.

Crime is indeed appalling, and, as I recently read from an article in the Economist, the situation has hardly improved in fifteen or so years.

That's very true. No-one challenges the ANC's rule. There is no understanding of the principle of democracy or the principle (and importance) of opposition. There are violent protests in the streets due to poor service delivery from government, which have been getting worse. Yet the ANC still got over 65% support in every election since apartheid ended 15 years ago. They have been given no incentive to perform because their reign is not threatened by opposition. So arrogant are they that they claimed they will be ruling 'until the second coming of Jesus.'

Everything (services and infrastructure) is deteriorating at an incredible pace. Corruption and cronyism became the order of the day. SA is becoming just another African basket case, and it's happening fast.

Of course, one is left to wonder whether ANC would even be willing to step down if they suddenly started losing popular support. Considering Zimbabwe and especially Kenya (another regional "model") African "democracy" has not been doing well lately.

Immigrants don't typically integrate within the first generation. Their kids will be the ones meshing the new culture with their own since they'll be spending their formative years within it.

If the parents fail to integrate, there's a high chance the kids will fail to integrate as well.

Moreover, what is happening in Europe is that immigrants have their own neighborhoods where their own rules apply. Also, by catering to immigrants' "needs", such as providing education in their native languages, governments are practically doing everything they can to prevent immigrants from integrating.

While the post above is spam, I'll respond anyway.

Bilingual Muslims children have a right, as much as any other faith group, to be taught their culture, languages and faith alongside a mainstream curriculum.

Why should any group have such a right at taxpayers' expense? Why a secular, civilized society should have any interest in supporting religious activism?

Muslim children in state schools feel isolated and confused about who they are.

Parents who tell their kids that they're always Muslims first aren't exactly helpful.

Bilingual Muslim children need Bilingual Muslim teachers as role models during their developmental periods, who understand their needs and demands.

Muslim children need secular role models. They need to be taught that they're individuals, not Muslims.

A Cambridge University study found that single-sex classes could make a big difference for boys. They perform better in single-sex classes.

I'm sure they'd perform better if they they were physically punished for bad grades. Better grades is no justification for the kind of sick, sex-segregated worldview Muslims are pushing.
